This cosmetic bag was upcycled out of old Guatemalan blouses called a "wipil or huipil". The women wear these blouses for about 20-30 years then they sell them to make an income to artisans.

Bags measure 8.5" W x 6" H
Double zippers. One on top and one on the back.
Back fabric is their recycled skirt fabric, assorted irate/plaid like
Front pattern MAY vary slightly as it is cut up fabric, however items have been chosen to match the photo as closely as possible.

QUETZAL CRAFTS - GUATEMALA
In the outskirts of Antigua, Guatemala 3 different women's groups have all received small business loans from World Vision International. They are comprised of women from the Mayan Tribe, and are heirs of a long line of weavers and embroiderers. They come from very rural areas in Guatemala and exist off of very little income. The purchase of this product helps employ those in the rural villages of Antigua and supports these women's small businesses!
